Pigdon Scout Campsite is managed by Whitley Bay & District Scouts on behalf of the Mitford Estate.

It is a green field campsite located near to Morpeth, Northumberland that is ideal for section or group camps.

The site is perfect for;

• Back to basics camping
• Patrol Camps
• Section Camps
• D of E Expeditions

The campsite has mains running water but uses chemical toilets, hence the requirements for a green field permit.

We can provide a warden for your group to camp on site should no-one have this kind of permit. Just let us know and we’ll see what we can do.
